The company TIM-PROJEKT doo Belgrade was founded in 2018 with headquarters in Belgrade by engineers with many years of experience in the design of telecommunication networks and systems with the aim of participating in the digital transformation of the telecommunications sector in Serbia, which began in 2015 and was recognized by the State of Serbia as the main means towards faster modernization of the country and society.
In the first wave of digitalization, optical infrastructure projects were carried out between large cities, as well as FTTH network projects in them.That wave lasted until 2021 and up to 80% of large cities in Serbia were covered by optical infrastructure to end users. In this way, the main investor Telekom Srbija gained over 1,000,000 new users of telecommunication services such as high-speed optical internet, digital television and VOIP. Our company participated in the development of FTTH network projects for several large cities such as Belgrade, Novi Sad, Pančevo, Šabac, Novi Pazar. After 2021, the focus of the state of Serbia is on rural areas in order to improve the quality of the network in schools and state facilities outside large cities and settlements. Our company again participates in the development of these projects.
In the past 6 years, we have managed to successfully complete and hand over to the investor several dozen projects, with a capacity of 500 to 15,000 users. These were mostly projects in larger urban areas with around 5,000 users. Our work included turnkey design, where our company performed all the work, from site survey, HLD solutions, LLD solutions, as well as the projects for a building permit, for which our team of engineers has all the necessary licenses from the Serbian Chamber of Engineers. Our company is responsible for designing over 1000 km of fiber optic routes and connecting over 100,000 users for our investors.
Given that the process of transformation of the telecommunications infrastructure in Serbia is nearing its end, we strive for our company to enter the large European market of telecommunications services and offer its knowledge and experience. We are particularly interested in cooperation with companies that are currently working on the German market, where a large project on the construction of optical infrastructure is underway. For this purpose, we have professionals who have high knowledge of the German language (C1).
Until now we also have had experience abroad, in developing FTTH projects for the Dutch market where we have done projects for 5,000 users in urban areas.
Our current potential for creating FTTH designes is 20,000 users per year. We want to agree cooperation with companies from Germany, for which we would work on projects from our office in Belgrade, and if necessary, we would send our engineers on the field in Germany.
